Bu şarkı 2. dünya savaşı döneminde işgal altındaki topraklarda kurulan düzensiz silahlı birliklere, yani özgürlük savaşçılarına yazılmıştır. hepinizin de bildiği gibi bu birliklere “partizan” denilmekteydi. Bu parça her ne kadar sosyalizm için yazılmış olsa da daha çok kominizmle anılmaktadır.
